ExSeed - Created to Change Status of Men’s Fertility

One out of five couples face fertility problems – 40% is caused by the man’s fertility. However, much focus has always been on helping women.
ExSeed want to change this! Therefore, they have developed a unique smartphone compatible device enabling men to test their sperm quality in private settings. It is based on a cloud solution with advanced algorithm for optic analysis.

Unlike other home tests, ExSeed measures both sperm concentration and motility, however, the home test cannot stand alone. Consequently, ExSeed integrates a health programme that focuses on nutrition, exercise and supplements. All this is put together by a team of expert nutritionists and doctors for optimal results. Moreover, it is possible to get an online consultation. 

Nordic Innovators helped ExSeed with their application to The Market Development Fund and ExSeed succeeded in getting a grant. This has enabled the speed of test and the maturity stage of the product. As a result, the product was launched in early 2019.
