Henrik has got a real nose for discovering the great idea which is one of the focal points for Nordic Innovators - he resembles of Gyro Gearloose - always thinking of new ideas.
During Henrik’s entire career, he has focused on helping SMEs getting soft funding. For many years, he was also developing many successful applications, however, as Nordic Innovators started to grow he uses all his energy on ensuring the continued growth of our company.
In his spare free time, Henrik enjoys paddle tennis and cross fit which give him new energy.

Moreover, Félix is a world record holder. Together with his former research team, he improved the efficiency record for Solar-to-Hydrogen conversion for prototype devices based on cheap photovoltaic materials.
Leaving the science community, Félix wanted to support clients with his experience to propel their innovative ideas toward real-world applications.
As a native Luxembourger, Félix speaks five languages. He appreciates living and working in warmer regions close to the sea.

Vera is not a typical Portuguese person: she speaks five languages fluently, Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian and English – pretty impressive. We wonder if Danish will be her sixth language.
Though Vera has never experienced a really cold winter in her childhood, she enjoyed being a winter swimmer when she lived in Denmark. Recently, Vera moved to Italy to be with her boyfriend.

Veronika has a background in industrial product development, mechanical engineering, and graphical design, which is spiced up with business development and project management. She is certified in ISO 21500:2013 - Project management.
Off work, she enjoys spending time with her family in Hungary, cycles around Lake Balaton, practises yoga and not least loves to be immersed in nature or a good book.

It is no surprise that Katharina became a scientist specialized in food produced in marine and freshwater environments as her parents ran a salmonid fish farm in Germany.
Having lived in Germany, Scotland, the Netherlands and now Denmark with her husband and 2-year-old son, Katharina is a true European who enjoys international environments. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors biking, swimming or gardening or bad weather alternatives like reading, painting, board games and baking, just to mention a few.

Georgios Anasontzis

Having worked several years as researcher in Greece, Sweden, France and Denmark, it is time for a change. Now, Georgios is combining his research background with his MSc in Business Administration and Bioentrepreneurship from CBS with emphasis on open innovation and partnership models.
Georgios has developed both national and EU grant proposals, been an evaluator of grant proposals for the EC and for several national foundations. He likes the variation that comes with working with different stakeholders and different technologies as well as the challenge of identifying and promoting innovation from both technical and business perspectives.
When Georgios has time, he enjoys biking around the forests and little towns of Nordsjælland in Denmark - and when that gets too quit, he likes to go to rock music events.

Previously she worked four years for Copenhagen Nanosystems as Senior Scientist and Scientific Project Manager. She worked on several grant proposals like Innobooster, Grand Solutions and Eureka projects. Moving seat, she looks forward to helping clients with getting soft funding to their innovative projects.
In here spare time, when the children do not take all her time, she is volunteering as a yoga and meditation teacher with Art of Living Foundation.

Moreover, for the last 2 1/2 years she has worked as a lead consultant to secure soft funding for innovative business projects from funds like Innobooster, Missionsbooster and EIC Accelerator.
Tina spends a lot of her free time being a yoga-geek and she loves gardening and being outdoors.

Neelabh has a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Smart Grids and a MSc. in Management. He has specialised in three fields, Competition and Innovation in High-Tech, Business Consulting and Creative Marketing Management.
He has a number of creative hobbies; singing, painting, writing, philosophy, as well as cooking. But his favourite hobby is gaming!

He moved to Spain with a secret ambition. He restored an abandoned farm and lives the very simple life in the middle of the mountains with, among others, mosquito bites, goats, wild boars and is planting while sunburnt in summer and frozen in winter...

Before joining Nordic Innovators, he worked at various universities in Germany as researcher and research coordinator. Vasco enjoys working across the offices developing both succesful Danish and EU funding applications.
Living near the Black Forest, it has been mandatory to do some hiking, mountain biking and skiing. Now, hopefully stand-up paddling in the Mediterranean will take over if Vasco can find the time away from his family and 1-year old son.

Moreover, she worked with LIFE projects as an evaluator, which lead her path to becoming an expert proposal writer for H2020 and HE programmes. During all this time, she has gained thorough expertise in many innovation areas, such as TIC’s or EUHT.

In the past year, Astrid has worked as Project Consultant for EIC Accelerator projects under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. She looks forward to continuing this at Nordic Innovators.

Beatriz can boast of 18 years’ experience as innovation project manager of international projects for big consortiums and SMEs, mainly focused on sustainability, circular economy, urban agenda 2030, and climate change strategy. Also she has work with EIC Accelerator and many other European and Spanish founded programmes (FEDER, CDTI, etc).
After work, she loves running, cycling, the wild nature and is passionate about arts. Nevertheless, it is wonderful baby girl who tops the list.

When Iwona has free time, what is quite complicated, she enjoys cooking international dishes and bake cakes. She is passionate about history and loves going for hikes with her family to be as close to nature as possible.

Ana Catarina's PhD was focused on development of natural-based hydrogel complex particles for drugs and cells encapsulation with the aim to be used in tissue engineering applications.
After finishing her PhD, Ana Catarina worked as a research scientist in a startup. This made her realise how SMEs struggled to get soft funding. Therefore, since 2017 she has been working as Innovation Consultant supporting and advising companies and universities on funding programmes as well as preparing high quality grant applications.
Ana Catarina works remotely from a little town near the coast in Northern Portugal. Her two dogs make sure to interrupt her for attention during the day and after work she enjoys water sports.

Natalia was specialised in Medicinal Chemistry and vaccine formulation development.
After almost 10 years in the Netherlands, Natalia moved back to Madrid in 2017 and changed the lab research into an Innovation Consultant position. Every since, Natalia has worked with the preparation of proposals for European funding programmes, mainly SME instrument and EIC Accelerator and especially for health and biotech related projects.

With his exploring mindset, Erlend left Norway at the age of 19 to pursue his bachelor's degree in international studies in Spain, where he later completed a Master's degree in Geopolitics and Strategic Studies.
Erlend has professional experience within international relations and diplomacy, where he focused on investigation and analysis of political and economic developments. His interest interest in innovation and sustainable development convinced him to that the EU Programme Delivery Services at NI was an exciting next step in his career.
Erlend is an extremely active person, and uses his spare time playing football, padel, tennis or running in the many parks of Madrid. Besides, he has a great passion for cooking and travelling.

In addition, he has more than 10 years of experience within innovation and business development in medtech and biotech with international experience in Europe, Japan and Singapore.
Emiliano has lots of experience with EU funding schemes - initially a writer but is now focused on business development searching and identifying innovative companies across Europe with potential to be successful winners at a European level.
When he is not working, he likes long runs and exploring the world with his wife and daughter.

Jan has an entrepreneurial background with focus on startups and new ventures. His internationally-focused mindset enables him to see things around himself from many different perspectives - an attribute he uses a lot in his approach to write the many successful Norwegian funding application.

Pernille is part of the Aarhus office, which mainly focusses on the many different Norwegian funding programmes. Here, Pernille primarily works with the SkatteFUNN programme.
Pernille has a master degree in Molecular Biology. She has spent much time in the Laboratory doing research in aging and thereby developed a scientist mind. She enjoys expanding her knowledge, broaden her horizon as well as gaining new skills.
In her spare time, Pernille enjoys different outdoor activities with her family but also relaxing with board games or knitting.

When she has time which is not much with a 1 year old, she loves to cook savoury food, try new dishes from different countries and bake cakes! Moreover, as many other "Nordic Innovators", Marta loves to travel.

Mats is part of the equity team working primarily from the office in Bergen where he assists with research and analysis of different investment cases. This fits him quite well as Mats has interest and experience from the financial markets and company valuation in general.
Mats finds it particularly interesting to see how businesses grow, and all the new ideas that come to life. He is currently studying MSc in Business with a major in Finance – he is eager to learn new things within and outside of school!
When Mats is not studying or working, he enjoys having a good time with friends or going to the gym. He also enjoys skiing or going salmon fishing in the summer.

Dyveke Bahrawy

Dyveke’s background is perfect match in Nordic Innovators’ cultural diversity – She was born and raised in Bergen; however, her roots are a mix of Egyptian, Swedish and German.
Dyveke is a curious and knowledge thirsty soul! She has a bachelor’s degree in European studies and a master in Business Law. Alongside her studies, she was a student assistant helping the Norwegian office with writing application. In June 2022 she joined us full time working mostly within the capital raising business area.
Her biggest passion is animals, especially dogs. She carries out obedience classes at a dog school and her goal is to put one of her two dogs through training so it can be a future certified search and rescue dog.

Ask Gram Franck

Intensely curious, Ask spent the last few years studying business & computer science, while reading every good book he could find. While studying, he also worked as an independent contractor, which included writing several successful funding applications for Norwegian SMBs.
Ask is a dedicated and compassionate individual. He already regards Nordic Innovators as his second home, and is now busy applying his writing skills and broad knowledge for our clients, while constantly looking for areas of improvement.
When he’s not working, you might find Ask in a hammock in the forest, playing classical piano, bouncing ideas off his friends, getting lost in the big picture, descending a Wikipedia/YouTube rabbit-hole on physics, or engaging in exercise ranging from yoga and dancing to MMA and strength training.

Bala is a highly motivated environmental professional, who is interested in addressing environmental impact issues. He is passionate about protecting our environment, promoting a sustainable future, renewable energy and new technology. Therefore, Bala is also looking forward to providing research support and expertise for different innovation funding programmes. He got his baptism of fire with crazy deadlines in august and survived with excellence.
Bala is originally from Singapore, however, moved to Germany to do a Bachelors and did his masters in Marine ecosystems and climate in Norway, Iceland, Denmark and the Faroe Islands as a joint-Nordic Masters programme.
When Bala is not working, he likes to travel experiencing other cultures and he loves eating and cooking.

Outside work, his interests range from the financial markets to exploring the beautiful Norwegian nature hiking in the mountains and some fishing if he gets the opportunity.

Originally from Hungary, but Teodora has lived abroad for quite some time now - Austria, Germany and Spain before moving to Denmark in 2018.
Teodora is a multidisciplinary scientist with a PhD. in natural sciences and with a background in marine biology, marine geology and climate science. She worked as an academic researcher until joining Nordic Innovators where she is applying her experiences and background to writing successful project applications.
Teodora is very interested in sustainability and nature conservation and has a never-ending love for the oceans and for all creatures living in it.
She spends most of her free time playing with her little son and is looking forward to introducing him to her biggest passions if life: Travelling (the farther the better), scuba diving and underwater photography.

Although Anne-Luise is originally educated as an agronomist, her career took a sidetrack early on. She focused more on general technology development and fundraising for the agricultural and food industry and later in a wide variety of technology domains. We are happy that Anne-Luise is bringing more than 12 years of experience with project management and fundraising.
She loves developing ideas from sketches on the back of a napkin to solid development projects in close cooperation with the customers.

Before joining Nordic Innovators, she has worked for +15 years in private and public entities at international level, mainly the energy sector (wind energy development, construction and operation; electric appliances manufacturing), the health sector (clinical trials) and R&D consultancy (public funding, technical & sales, SME-focused & collaborative programmes).
Isabel loves outdoor sports, rock music, photography and red wine although her current spare time is almost non-existent with two small kids.

Katerina works part time, mainly in our Sales & Marketing team at the Aarhus office. Before joining Nordic Innovators, Katerina worked for a Danish startup environment with a background in biotechnology and chemistry. Having worked full time for some time, Katherina has returned to her studies and is currently in the middle of her engineering master degree in Technology-Based Business Development at Aarhus University.
In her free time, if she has any, she enjoys spending time in nature, winter bathing, and any movement ranging from calm yoga to lifting at the gym. Besides that, she's interested in holistic and healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and biohacking.

During winter, Susanne can sometimes be hard to find as she either off skiing again or just away for her daily winter dip in the sea.

Gintare has many different tasks as office assistant at the Vedbaek office. She is always prepared to help everyone who reach out for help across the offices. However, luckily she is mostly busy with assisting the CFO.
Gintare is from Lithuania but has been living in Denmark for several years. Her 9 year old daughter corrects her Danish every day, so one day she will be able to speak it as fluently as her.
When Gintare is not busy at Nordic Innovators, she enjoys renovating her house, travel to her home country to visit family, but also outdoors activities or just relaxing with a good movie or book.

Therefore, we are very happy to have our new IT specialist, Carlos on board. Carlos has experience with working for a couple of IT companies from the US and Canada as well as from the IT support area for a renewable's energy company.
Carlos is bit of an all-rounder as Nordic Innovators has so many remotely employees - Moreover, he is in charge of our IT systems in our four bigger offices so it is not an easy task, but Carlos takes it nice and easy.
In his spare time, Carlos likes to cook, read and enjoy walking along the Guadalquivir river in Spain.
