All 2025 deadlines have passed, but the expected timeline for 2026 is:
* Phase 1 deadline: 3 March 2026
* Response to Phase 1: End of spring 2026
* Phase 2 deadline (invite-only): 10. September 2026.

How to Apply for Grand Solutions
To facilitate the application process and ensure a more transparent assessment of the projects, the Grand Solutions programme is divided into two phases:
1. A "letter of interest"*
2. The best rated projects are selected to develop a full application.
Project Types and Frameworks
The Grand Solutions programme supports both research projects and development projects and can be national or international collaborations. All projects must always be ambitious, knowledge-based, have a high degree of innovation and demonstrate clear value creation for Denmark.

All proposals submitted to Grand Solutions must align with one of the programme’s six themes:
Green research, technology and innovation, Life science, health, and welfare technology, Biotechnology and biosolutions, Critical and digital technologies, Space technologies and Quantum technologies.

Full Proposal Development

We perform reviews looking at consistency of arguments, vocabulary, language as well as quantifications and benchmarking, clarity and relevance of the work description, consistency of the workflow, and sufficient attention to milestones, progress management and tangible form of results. Also, we can review pitch decks, business plans etc.
